Zombies won't remember this information if they've read it, and I'm not worried about people going all the way to BC to try to find me for no reason.
My spot to just disappear is in entirely different location that I found years ago.
OK, as long as you have a spot to just disappear and keep it from everyone, you're still good.
Did you watch that show on how to disappear on the Discovery channel a couple weeks ago? That guy had some good ideas, but also did some weird/impossible/unnecessary things. He was right on the money with the whole blending in to a moderately populated area thing. Show up in a small town and all eyes are on you. Rural area you are too easy to pinpoint if anyone thinks you don't belong. Big cities are too difficult to move to and start over. Medium towns are where it's at. Climate where winter conditions won't impede your travel for very long.
In a zombie/SHTF situation you might as well just do something fun until you die, because that's what's gonna happen.
That's why I focus all my spare mental energy into formulating my "just disappear" plan. It's much more useful than those silly fairy tale games.
