Not sure it's even possible to cram LC into a ACP mag.

No it won't.

I do have a story though. A friend works the counter at a small engine shop. One day a lady came in with a Briggs flywheel key that was in two pieces, and told the buddy that she needed a new key. He brought out a blister pack of 2. She said it wasn't the correct part. (Briggs keys have been the same for 40 years)

Said her husband gave her the broken key, and said to make sure it was the identical part. Since it was in two pieces, it wasn't identical, and she protested. It was amusing to watch the counter guy explain the difference.

He had way more self control than me.

Not her fault, she was just following "orders"

I probably get 20-30 calls per day AR related.

No biggie, I just politely say, I have no AR related items at this time.

I had a customer today, that bought a .45 1911.

His wife bought him a box of 45LC.

She called and said "Um... somthing is wrong with this gun, the ammo wont fit"

Of course they could not take the ammo back, so I explained to them that they needed .45 auto instead of .45LC

I offered to trade them a box of .45 auto for their 45LC

When they came to trade the ammo, I had them both sign a waiver that BANG is not liable if they accidently shoot theirselves.

My customer service is top notch.

Man I'm going to have to make the drive out there then lol the CS is worth the drive it sounds like.

its my wifes fault. I was snickering about it to her when I got off the phone, and she proceeded to rip my ass, on how I shouldn't make fun of people. So I called them back, and offered to trade them a box for a box.

It was out of my own stash too, I don't sell ammo.

My wife keeps me in check, when I slip out.

It seems like every time I go to "the" walmart or academy the ammo guys are always such Richards. I know this to be true especially lately. I understand they get tired of being asked the same thing 1000 times a day but guess what, it's your job!! If you have a problem with it, go back to the junior college you dropped out of and get a job that pays more than $7 so you won't be so bitter and hateful. I'm a younger guy in my twenties and i'm tired of being treated like dirt by these guys for no other reason than they don't want to be bothered. It's ridiculous when I call to ask about ammo quantities and get hung up on by 5/12 places I call after some sarcastic or short snappy answer. These guys feel such an entitlement, do they not realize they are only king of their little counter? It's hard to keep wanting to support local businesses that I won't name as well as the big stores when such prejudices exist bases on I'm assuming age in person and frustration over the phone. If this applies to anyone reading PLEASE be more curtious when dealing with the guy who makes sure you keep your crappy little job of being the local mall ninja expert. We have careers, not jobs; if we knew you didn't have ammo in stock we wouldn't waste our own time calling or showing up, much less yours. But we don't know, so stop acting like we are an inconvinience to you and your secret plethora of walmart stock knowledge.

Just my .02

Sigh..

Struggle with self esteem much? Relax. Why would you let someone else have control of your emotions like that? Take a minute to put things in perspective. Do you WANT to be angry?
Just because someone works at Academy or Walmart, and may or may not be a junior college drop out, doesn't imply that they should take your crap. But...you're the king of your little keyboard, you can throw all the tantrums you want.

Get off my lawn.
Lol! One time at the store on 240 the older gun counter guy was very insistent that I was incorrect about a 20 ga shotgun. I wanted a full size Yildiz 20ga to buy as a gift for my dad. He kept handing me the youth model of the same gun (you can tell because of the 26" barrels) and proclaiming it was the only one they have ever carried and all the 20ga were 26" and the 12s were 28". He seemed really upset that I would question his universal wisdom on the matter and claimed to have been doing this for 30 years. I was very cordial and asked to look at a couple more to find one with wood I like. Low and behold the next one he brought me had the 28" barrels instead of 26" barrels (along with the full size stock). I gently pointed this out to him and it went all over him. I didn't get 3 words out of him the rest of the transaction.

Alot of serious whining going on here.

Yall REALLY need to put yer big boy pants on, customers, and couter help alike.

My sentiments exactly. If you don't like the madness at your local place buy online and deal with long back orders and slow shipping. Or follow the boy scout motto and always be prepared and avoid the craziness altogether.
