You keep bringing up that kids are forced to be in school; are you saying that kids shouldn't be required to go to school? What exactly is your image of a proper educational system?
A GED education should be available for anyone at any age because it's already been paid for with property taxes. Universities that get public assistance should be required to have GED classes for adults and local schools should hire teachers for night classes if there is a demand. Nobody should be arrested for not going to school. If you don't want to go to school and get left behind then fine. Smaller classes with fewer disruptions for kids that want to be in school is the way to go. Schools should be better at kicking people out then forcing them to keep coming back. Ditchers can roam the streets, watch tv and do what they want unless they criminally interfere with someone else. Something like that.

Watched the video several times and clearly see the officer trying to remove her in an appropriate manner and then she takes a cut at him in the lower neck and he steps up the removal process. Didn't see nothing out of line. Reminds me of the time in 7th grade when Benny tried the art teacher and got slung around by the hair of his head and tossed out the door after he was told to get out of his class. Then the time in 8th grade when Roger tried the wrestling coach and got his head slammed to both walls in the hall. Both were getting marched or escorted to the office when they decided to take punch at the teacher. Bad choice. You can question authority, disagree with authority, not like authority, But DONT HIT AUTHORITY unless you can hit harder. LoL Too bad the officer got fired for doing a decent job trying to remove her.
Sounds like my day. You screw up, the teacher took you into the hallway and gave you swats with a paddle. Saw a couple of tough guys get put on the ground by a teacher more than once, then their parents were called, and they really caught hell when they got home.
The pussification of America continues.
That cop might be a decent calf roper.

I was thinking bulldogger, but its not much different.

Did you even read the page you liked to?

You: A different angle and closer and clearer video clearly shows she hit him upside the head with a closed fist.

The page: New Video Angle Shows that Student Attempted to Punch Police Officer.

And here's the best screen capture they could get of the vicious strike:

Ace nailed it.

Did I read the page I linked? Yes, I did. Did you?

How do you guys like your crow cooked? Note: You'll like the fact that this sheriff is throwing his officer under the bus and talks out both sides of his a$$ just like you.

Ace you consistently make up your own "facts". If that works for you in your "pretend world" go ahead on. But it never has and never will work in the real world.

If unnecessarily, violently, throwing little girls around is what makes someone a tough guy, I'll gladly wear the title of of Pussification of America apologist.

It has nothing to do with being a tough guy, it's a line in the sand of how far do you go for someone to disrupt the education of others. If you really believe that severely violent.... the title will fit for sure.

I was at a local store yesterday evening and 2 young teenagers were acted like hoodlums. I looked at them directly and said would you be acting that way if your parents were with you. I didn't give em a chance to answer, I said if you wouldn't then behave like they are here, otherwise I will tell Mr. Smith. (She had a school jacket on with her name on it, I dont think either knew I read the name from the jacket. Lol) They perked up and acted better.

A little later 2 younger kids were acting up and running around within eyesight of their parents. When they didn't say anything to them, I asked the store clerk if they were running a daycare. He sighed a little and said it is pretty bad tonight. I replied loud enough the nearby parents could hear me and said they aren't my kids otherwise they would be behaving better. The dad finally got the kids attention and called them to him.

No, we do not agree at all. I do not think the teacher was a bad teacher. The teacher did fail to establish a relationship, but no teacher can establish a relationship with every students. The student had other issues which influenced her behavior. Those issues had nothing to do with the teacher. The teacher did discipline the student he/she called the administration, which is what a teacher does for discipline.
A teacher only establishes rules and procedures to create an academic learning environment. Those rules and procedures have nothing to do with discipline.
I think if you read what I said and did little bit of that higher level Blooms, I said that the school has an issue.

We actually agree then, this event was started by the ineptitude of the teacher. For you it was the inability of the teacher to establish a trusting relationship with the student, and in my case it was the inability for the teacher to discipline the student.

Ok, thanks.
I guess that's more of a libertarian view..?? I can't say I disagree, though I think there would be a lot more uneducated deadbeats that would end up as criminals.

Please don't box me, a libertarian, into this comment. Believe me this position IS NOT representative of libertarians!!!
