For $10 it cant be beat. Where else IN THE WORLD can you look over ACRES of guns and historical items with THOUSANDS of people with similar interest?

You guys are hard to impress. So what if some vendors were high priced? Make an offer or move on - there are another few hundred tables to look at.

Maybe some people have to bitch and whine about everything?

BTW - I bought a $780 Python, $350 P&R M19 snubbie in holster, a BNIB 4" SS M629 for $500 and a IN THE MAILER 1st edition Kopec book on Colt SAA for $80. ALL FROM DEALERS AT THEIR TABLES.

If I'm hard to impress it's because I've gone to the Wanenmacher for several years and am spoiled by certain vendors being there. :D I was hoping to talk to Maj about a can, wasn't there. Possibly wanted to look at one of PT Partners at a GC NN 1911, he wasn't there. Wanted some TFOs for my G21SF I bought off Gsarg, BigState didn't bring crap for accessories. I was hoping Cylinder and Slide would come back as they weren't there last time, nope..... no 1911 ignition kits for me. Lonewolf came last time, but didn't come this time either. Definately a bust for me.

Couldn't make it this year. But even with expensive admission and the lack of abundant good deals, I enjoy going and think some of the show vendors will adjust their prices over time.
Unless they are more into collecting than sales and want to continue renting expensive tables and not moving much merchandise except for the uneducated buyer that stumbles in the door.
I've said this before. There are deals there. They may not be what I'm currently looking for and you sometimes have to look hard.

I thought it was still worth 10 bucks. Its better than walking around the mall with your girlfriend/wife Come on now, gun shows rarely have that great of prices. i just use it as a chance to go see some interesting guns and see what id be interested buying next. I did find a good shape mosin carbine m44 for 90 bucks.

I found a pretty good deal on a kimber. I went in wanting to get a tle/rl 2 and left with a kimber warrior.

I won't say I was really happy with the show, but I wasn't impressed. I didn't get my feet run over by people in scooters, people were fairly friendly and I got to fondle a bunch of guns. I really wanted to talk to major malfunction, but didn't see him.

Something that I do like about the Big Show is that I get to ogle a lot of things I wouldn't normally get to see. For example, there were multiple tables of best-grade English double guns. I remember seeing a Churchill and a Boss, maybe a Holland and Holland. The level of craftsmanship that went into those guns is unparalleled. It'll be a long time until I can afford to drop $30k on a shotgun, but they're still nice to look at.

Then again, I got my taste in guns from my 85-year-old grandfather. I started my day smoking a cigarette outside with an old man commiserating about how guns these days are all "made out of f&*king plastic."

E: I own an AR-15 and am looking at buying a M&P but that's only because I can't afford a nice Garand and a Browning High Power.

By the way, does anyone have any experience with M&A for AR uppers? I'm kind of looking for a 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC upper, and that vendor had several in the latter caliber at their booth. About $550 for a flat top to $700 for a quad-rail flat top, IIRC. Were there any other vendors with uppers in those calibers?
I have several Modle 1 uppers 5.56, 6.8, 762x39 and put 10 together and sold them after Oboma got in office on problems with any of them.

You can buy Ultrafire flashlights at Deals Extreme for $9-$17.

Haha, so true. I actually have a 3W Ultrafire UV light on the way right now from Hong Kong...

Maybe the idiot was hoping that they would pay just enough attention to the "fire" in the brand name to connect it with SureFire in their head.
