Weird combinations

Peanutbutter and pickle sandwich sometimes with jalapeño.

Cottage cheese and strawberry jelly.

In my younger days Peanutbutter cookies and guacamole.

sauerkraut and Swiss in an omelet with spicy brown mustard.

When I was a kid there wasn't much I wouldn't put Catalina dressing on and I still put it on pizza sometimes.

My granny got me started on cottage cheese and syrup. From what I'm seeing from some of you, cottage cheese with anything sweet made it easier on us as kids.

And my Mom had us eating peanut butter and mayo sandwiches. I didn't know it then but that was a staple from hard times.

Candy corn (the most hated fall candy) mixed about 40/60 with dry roasted, salted peanuts is great. Perfect combo of sweet and salty.

WRONG!!!!

Candy corn is almost what we live for (wife and I.) As soon as Brach's puts out their candy corn near Halloween time, we are buying that and the little pumpkins. Sometimes as the Autumn Mix. By the time Halloween gets here, we are having to limit ourselves on how much we buy.

Withdrawal symptoms are still being felt...

I've been thinking about the peanut butter and bacon combo. I think I'll try that, definitely with crunchy peanut butter, not smooth.

My odd combo is potato chips with gouda cheese, preferably the gouda with bacon in it.

Try peanut butter on a bacon cheeseburger, pretty fantastic imo

Jalapeño kettle cooked potato chip with a bread and butter pickle on top. It was my wife’s go to food craving during her last pregnancy. I must admit, it works.
