Western belts.

So, getting divorced and have to learn how to dress like an adult again.

I've been wanting to get into some western wear but when I get to belts I get stumped. I REALLY like my cinch style belt like my Wilderness belt or Spec Ops uniform belt. The belts with holes just never seem to stay tight and it gets annoying.

Doesn't have to be carry certified just wondering if anyone had any advice.

Kore has a few western ratchet type belts.

I wear a 5.11 belt daily, but for dressing up, I wear a Vogt ranger style western belt. They’re not cheap, but they hold up well and last for years.

Is Looper leather still at H&H? They used to be able to custom make you a belt.

I bought a belt in a gas station on the Beeline around 1976. The belt was made by an inmate in Big Mac. I still wear that belt occasionally, maybe they still let inmates make belts for sale.

Is Looper leather still at H&H? They used to be able to custom make you a belt.

I think H&H still "sells" Looper belts, but I don't think Looper actually builds them there. I think they used to have a place off I-35 in OKC, but I'm not sure they are still there.

I bought a Versa-Carry belt and holster about 7 years ago. Wear it everyday, with or without the holster. It is good as new, comfortable and stylish.

H&H sells Looper Brand belts and Bart Looper still makes them. He sold the building that his grandfather built off of I-35 several years ago. He maintains a shop inside of H&H where he produces them. (At least the last time I spoke with him)
