What’s a good .22lr handgun option for plinking/ the occasional vermin removal

Ruger MK IV 5 1/2” bull barrel, 10 round magazine, adjustable rear sight. Some of the models offered come with threaded 1/2” X 28 standard muzzle, suppressor ready.

I think anything in the Ruger MK series would be great. 22/45 lite is threaded and would be my choice if I was buying a new 22.

Ruger MK or Browning Buckmark. I have had both. Both are fun to shoot and accurate. Buckmark is easier to clean.

My smith and Wesson victory isn’t bad. It’s cheap and accurate. The Ruger marks, browning buckmarks, and high standard offerings are great. But, if you have the coin, a smith and Wesson 617 with a 6” barrel is absolutely a hoot to shoot and dead accurate too. I absolutely love mine. It will shoot anything you load too, unlike a semi auto 22 pistol, as most can be finicky.

I'm really liking my Diamondback Sidekick. Styled like a SAA but is SA/DA with a swing out cylinder.
Hold 9 rounds of either .22lr or 22WMR.

I've enjoyed the Rugers. Still haven't bought a MK IV, but I guess they are the easiest to disassemble.
