When I was a kid my scout troop used to go camp in the Arbuckles near Elk Mountain, one day we hiked to the peak and about the time we topped out 3 F-111's flew by us at eye level 2-300 yards away. They were nape of the earth and moving fast!

My favorite airplane is the ME 262. It must have been quite an experiance fly a jet into combat against piston/prop planes. Its hard to beleive it first flew in the spring of 41 and due to Hitler's lack of foresight it didnt see service till 44.

My favorite small arm is the AK 47. not sure why? I guess because when i started collecting/shooting guns in the 80's they were on top of the Gov's hit list so i bought a couple. After that my addiction to the rifle and its variants got way out of hand.

Well its not flashy, its not real fast, we nickmaned it the "Pig". Yep you can shoot from it, its 4X4, and after haveing several hit by IED's an VBIED's, the Army and Marines wanted them. This is what would become the MRAP. These are SouthAfrican Casspir's. Trust me after getting blownup in one of these, I'll trust my life to it!
