Do AC-130s have Helfires? Definitely apaches.

Yup. Plus you have to realize you are watching a video that is taken by a stabilized camera. That's part of why the movements seem so smooth, like it is just orbiting in a large circle. It may well be, but it it also pitching and yawing at times, but the camera adjusts to keep a stable image.

Help me understand. What types of guns and ammo was being used first? The machine gun type? Are the rounds explosive? And the other missiles, were they hellfire and what exactly are they.

Best part of the vid was at 2:48 when they finish off the turd on the ground and his torso explodes.

the 30mm chain gun fires high explosive dual purpose rounds. The Apache is also equipped with up to 16 Hellfire missiles and two, 19 tube Hydra 70 mm rocket pods. I didnt see any Hydras fired in the parts of the vid I saw.

Also there was a warning saying "yawl"(sp) limit reached or something like that.

Question i have is about FLIR. I could see an rpg and ak some were carrying. Even a little detail. Is that possible with FLIR?

Is there any chance this vid is from a video game? Most of the guys that were shot, disappeared. If FLIR was really used even a dead guy would be visible as a heat source. Right?

And how did the one pilot unjam his gun?

Actually the video doesnt do it (the FLIR) justice. Its a lot clearer in person. As far as the residual heat signatures of the dead bodies it all depends on the temperature gradient surrounding the object. Heavily clothed skin would appear more faint than exposed flesh and , well innards, for lack of a better word. But yes, for a time the body would still be very visible as well as the parts which were liberated from it depending on the back ground.

As far as fixing the malfunction on the chain gun, I dont know. He probably had some other fault which corrected itself rather than a "jam" in the common sense.
