Any old trap gurus?

So there's at least two style clamps, and it appears to mostly be in the handle. There's a vast difference in "value" between the two. If I had to take a guess, the "fancy" ones I posted above would probably be appropriate to my older trap and these would be more appropriate to my dads 1925 or later trap...but that is just a guess.

I need to look at the old traps grandpa had hanging in the barn. None are the size or bear type traps. Didn't know some could be peddled.

Traps have a huge following for sure. You'd be amazed what people collect.
