Any OSA'rs in the Ardmore area?

Anyone down in this area? It would be great if a few of us could get together every now and again and put some ammo downrange. Maybe a southern chapter of the FGST. ( if I'm fat enough to qualify)

hey weav, whats lake murray looking like? its our favorite but the last time we were there, there were only two ramps open on the lake. the marina and marietta landing. there was also martins landing but it was so rough the diesel 4x4 had a hard time getting the boat out! there are a few members your way, they don't like guns though. the last i heard, they sold them all

OSA members who don't like guns? Hmmm. I've heard the lake is way down. I haven't been out there in a long time. I fish my ponds and don't need to go anywhere else.

I'm in Lone Grove and haven't sold my guns. Right now with ammo hard to get I haven't been shooting much but do need to get out and sight in my new Aimpoint that's on my 556. I usually shoot out at the lake range, but haven't been there in awhile. Give me a shout sometime...

For the life of me, I don't understand why some rich landowner in Ardmore hasn't put in a range yet.

Isn't there a range in Davis? Seems like I heard someone is building a indoor range in Davis also.

There's a range on the Washita River west of Davis. Don't know the yardage. Run by a local gun club. I've never been there.

The one in Davis is the Southern Oklahoma Sportsman Club. They have a website. 100yd rifle, no quick fire, rotating/timed pistol range and rimfire range.
I don't think it's public. Other than advertised open events, have to be a guest of a member.
It's been a while though. Don't know if anything's changed.
Sounds like there's more OSA'rs down here than I thought. I'll be getting a hold of you guys soon and we'll do something.
