Anyone have a newer Jeep Liberty or Patriot?

Looking at getting a new car and was thinking about a 2012 Liberty or Patriot.

Anyone have one? If so, thoughts?

We already have a Commander and a Wrangler. We like Jeeps, so I'd like to get another one

I've gotten 2010 and 2011 Liberties as rentals, they seem to be good cars. They seem to do better off road than the Commanders, however the interior is obviously much more cramped, similar to the JK wranglers.

I'm kind of in the same boat, whatever new car we buy will always be a Jeep.

My wife drives a Liberty diesel. Great little SUV. Its a 2006 though so I dont know how the newer ones are.

To clarify: The Liberties I've rented were used for oilfield work in ND and WY, so not exactly just running around town.

We've had a Patrot for a loaner while our truck was at the dealer. Sucky car IMO. No power and just flimsy. It is a car, not a jeep.

Only reason I was considering a Patriot is the gas mileage is a lot better than the Liberty.

This is company car that I'll just be driving on normal streets.

my wife had a 2009 liberty it was a total pos ,all four power window motors went out under 20000 mile. replace ignition module at around 25000, transmission at 32000 then we got rid of it. bought a mazda cx 7 so far so good

Skip the liberty and buy the same platform wrangler unl

My sister drives a 2011 Liberty. Already tons of problems. I won't own another Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler for a while...
