I once used someone's fishin net to grab the critter and held it down awaiting the driver to get out of the truck to dispatch it. He was extremely hesitant and before the door even opened the army had leapt like a cat out of a bathtub and right through the net.

That is just wrong. My next thing on my bucket list is to pop a diller with my .300 win mag and see if I can make it totally turn into a pink mist. Course this is probably REALLY wrong too.

I hunt with an 8x57 often, so I sometimes end up busting armadillos with that round. I shot a diller at Heyburn a few years ago while looking for pigs...the exit wound from the 8 left not only the usual innards and bits, but a bunch of baby armadillos. Pretty gross, but I'd like to shoot more of them that way.
