Dang, I should have handed out white with black stripe crying towels along I35 for that long trip home for some of you guys. If that offense some of you have crowed about all week had stepped up you wouldn’t be blaming a couple of questionable calls for getting your tails beat.

Hasn’t worked out so well, other than money and I’m curious if they really make more given the deminished success, for mizz, Nebraska, Colorado, and a&m. A&M has been the most successful.

Like I said, time will tell.

Conference revenues are shared evenly so they'll make more money. Nebraska, Colorado, and Mizzu were shells of their former selves before they left the Big12. A&M has done ok, but you notice how bad Texas got after an SEC school was in their backyard? The kids will want to go where they get the most exposure and 11am marquee games aren't it. NIL changed everything.

OU's offense played well enough, hence a true freshman throwing for 3 TDs on the "best" OSU D we've ever seen. In fact they played better than I would've expected given the hype. Now special teams is a different story. That non-pass interference wasn't questionable lol... that was a blatant no call. But that doesn't matter, OU is to blame for the loss, not the refs. Even through all that, I'll bet some poke butts were puckering on that last drive when Caleb was scrambling.

I was puckered for sure. OSU defense stopped them several times including the final drive. The one stop where they held them to a FG proved to be crucial.

That's the kicker. The report I heard was that Mizzou was making significantly more from their SEC contracts than OU and Texas were making from their Big 12 contracts, despite OU and Texas being much bigger draws (Texas's current situation notwithstanding).

Now we get to see if Texas can go for the four-peat with the SEC, having killed the Southwestern conference, the original Big 12, and the Big not-quite-12...

There is a array of amounts floating out there but with #'s I have seen it ranges between $18 and $33 million more per year for a SEC school over the Big 12.
