Easy Rider came out well before my time but I really like it. Jack Nicholson's character was great!
The heads of the statues adorning the italian american society tomb in St. Louis #1 were broken off during that time period, rumor has it that Dennis Hopper actually did it. The diocese never gave permission to film in the cemetery and only found out about it after the fact when a parishioner was watching the movie and saw the scene in the cemetery where they dropped acid and it was atop his families tomb. The church was furious and to this day no movies are allowed in catholic cemeteries. All the television and movie scenes you see in new orleans cemeteries are filmed in the protestant greenwood cemetery.
