This is pretty much the reason I go to the fair, I like the roasted corn and gyros the best, its all good. Some of the wine vendors make slushys at the Tulsa fair, yummy!

I refuse to make my own egg nog, I refuse to buy Hiland's "Halloween Nog", and I refuse to even drink a single sip of Braum's egg nog until the Christmas Tree is up, which in my family is Thanksgiving evening.

Respect tha nog, bro!

LOL
I hear ya'....

The only time I ever made my own 'nog was 7-8 years ago when I aped a Martha Stewart recipe outta' the Tulsa World for an informal family "'nog-off".

I tell ya' what, man, it was STOUT stuff...and that was without adding any "extra" for the chef.

Her recipe called for: rum, bourbon, and brandy.
It actually tasted good too and was a real hit....but at the end of the day the best tasting, IMO, was:

.....
Drumroll please

Braum's + Wild Turkey
(tho' I traditionally use Jack)

In my opinion, Braum's 'nog is why it's called "NOG"......."Nectar of Gods"

I'm all about sneaking booze into anything I can, but I prefer my egg nog straight.
