This was Mondays catch after being on the Arkansas river bank way below lock 16.
This picture I took after cleaning 21 sandbass from that icechest.
The blue cat is 21" long.
I took the wife and grandson there yesterday and the bite got really good a couple hours before dark.
Grandson (just turned 5 a month ago) got a big blue that almost pulled him into the river.
I had to take the messed up 404 reel and rod from him because drag did not work and it was about to break the line.
I had to push the button and let line out and hand fish the thing in.
28.5" long.
A really nice fat one.
No pictures of it because I do not have a camera on me and I was busy baiting hooks for the wife and boy.
They had a really good time except for the 2.5 hour drive there and back.
We got home at midnight. Shad was hard to find yesterday.

Didn’t get a bite, but it was a beautiful day on the river. 
Thank You. We have been catching a crap load of crappie off our docks in the evening. The bite has been on for sure.
