Caught a mess of these babies today. I was trolling right behind the pelicans up here near the Elk River bridge on Grand lake.

Nothing big at all. But I learned today that it can be more fun trying to catch these smaller fish, you have to be more strategic & selective on the lure or bait & the hook. Took me a while to get the right combination before i actually started catching them.

Yesterday went back to the ol creek place I went to last time, but in a different spot, probably half a mile away. Didn't have much time, but caught a couple. Including now my personal best for smallest Striper fish I've ever caught.

Did alright drifting on Keystone this past Saturday - this is our first fish, G-son brought it in weighing in at 9Lbs.

It was a toasty morning on the water. We had to dip our rods in the water a couple times to thaw the eyes out. The fishing was on fire for us. 3 of us caught between 52 and 60 fish and we kept 8 for a couple meals.
