I went to Tishomingo yesterday, fished Big Sandy creek and Pennington creek for Sandies, caught two gar, that was it. Not running there yet, maybe after this week's rain. Anyone finding any morels yet?
Hit up Chouteau Thursday afternoon. The females are finally up in the channels. Not in big numbers yet, but we managed to catch 20 and kept 16.
Brother and I went on a guided trip at Eufaula Thursday, got 40 between us.
Crappie day better than mine!
This easter weekend is messing with my fishing. Lots of family coming for dinner Sunday, so prep starts two days ahead. Monday's looking good though.
Just fished Eufaula the last couple days, what I learned.....If you have live scope you catch 90-120 crappie a day, without it your good to catch a small mess of keepers. Unfortunately we were without it.
I just bought the live scope system. Only had it out a couple of times but it's amazing.
It is, I spoke with several boats using it and they were slaying crappie! We went to catch crappie and caught more sand bass and largemouth before we were done.
