Flu Shot

I got a flu shot on friday. I know it can cause soreness at the site of the injection, but holy crap! My entire right arm is about 1/3 again the size of the left. Sore as hell, too.

Yeah Boi!!! The 'nurse lady' didn't think it was very funny when she heard us talking about it. I got mine today at 2:30...had to end my job early to get the dang thing. My neck has been kinda stiff since I got the shot. The stupid boses wife had it scheduled from 2-3, but most crews don't start coming in from the field till around 3:30-4:00.

Not to hichjack the thread but my wife and I just received a notice of the whooping cough vaccination and the need for a current tetnus shot. Also, it seems that they have combined these two together, this notification came straight from the Air force .... A Tetnus Shot every 5 years is strongly suggested.

I just got mine too and a few hours later it was smarting! I usually rub it into the muscle/fat of my arm pretty good. Stayin nice and hydrated, drinking alot of water will speed up movin it out of ur arm/muscle and with the soreness.

I wish someone would ask Dan Threlkeld if he had received any kind of vaccination, just before he was diagnosed with guillain barre syndrome

Could also be because they are including the H1N1 vaccine in it this year.
