Yes, I do really truly have asthma. I often take my nebulizer twice a day, and sometimes in the middle of the night.
Sounds pretty poorly-controlled to me... another reason to do everything possible to avoid getting sick.

I'm aware it kills people

How many of those 30-40,000 have other health issues? How many are elderly or children?

<snip>

I think the odds of someone of my age and health dying of the flu are pretty minuscule. I think MY ODDS for even GETTING the flu are much lower than the statisical odds, based on my lifestyle and surroundings. Again, if I'm wrong you are all welcome to dance on my grave.

Of course most are old or young... but there are every season young people who spurn medical advice and think, "It's no big deal," and end up dead. Sucks to be them. I'd hate to see that be anyone I know, too.

Bunk. Even the CDC admitted that their "36,000 deaths per year" is just a SWAG estimate. And from some of what I've read, most of those deaths were due to secondary infection - mostly pneumonia.

Ummm... yeah. The flu leads to many other infections... guess what pneumonia is? Fluid (pus) in the lungs from infection. Guess what the flu does?
:laugh6:

Whatever... anyways, hope you guys don't get the flu, vaccine or not. It sucks.
