If you're a high-risk person (asthma, COPD, etc.), then it might be a good idea. If you're a healthy person, then I don't see a need for it, unless that's what you want to do. And for the record, I'm not a religious person, so you can leave poor baby Jeebus out of it.

Lawl. I live on the border of Yuppieville and Crackerville. I travel to Yuppievillle to grocery shop because the stores are nicer and Yuppie moms are nicer to look at than Cracker girls.
I used Yuppieville to paint a picture. The house and car estimates were conservative. Point being, fatty McAging Yuppie should have paid for her dang flu shot and not even used the word "insurance". She ate more $ in food that day than the damn shot cost. I hate people.

I find it funny that ANYONE who refuses to get a flu shot is grouped in with the whack job crowd. I don't have any crazy theories, I just don't want a flu shot. I'm young and healthy....and it's just the damn flu. If I get the flu, big whoop. I've been sick before. If it was a shot that prevented cancer or heart disease, sure, sign me up. But a shot to prevent the flu is not on my list of important things to do. Spare me your anecdotal flu stories. I'll most likely be just fine, if I'm not then I'll die of horrible fluitis and you can dance on my grave. Whatever. It's the friggin' flu.
