My Franken-AR is made from S&W, Bushmaster, and 1960s or 70s GI stuff (I think it's Armalite). Oh, with a RRA BCG. I am really happy with it! I had it for sale for $625, but after ridiculous offers, I decided just to keep it.

I am a Franken Gun owner and shooter as well. Colt A1 upper, w/ 11.5 inch barrel, 5.5 inch flash hider, Palmetto lower and parts kit, CAA collapsible. No frills and it shoots just fine for me. IF I ever sell I won't be asking $800.00 for it wither. This one is family though.

There can be quite a spread in pricing and product, but I prefer self built franken guns. Best way to get exactly what you want.
