Get your Gardasil shot while you're in there - you might die from cervical cancer if the flu doesn't get you.

I see more paranoia in those that get the shot, than the "nutjobs" that refuse it.

I get one ever year and haven't had the flu since I was about 12 years old. It certainly can't hurt my chances of getting it so I choose to get one. The shot is free and I inject it myself.

no I don't think so. I had the flu once it was horrid. I still don't get flu shots. I'm like the others I believe that hand washing does more to prevent illness than just about anything. I also drink pine needle tea when I start to feel under the weather in the least and that knocks out just about everything too.

See - this kind of post comes up every time there's any serious debate about this topic. It's a non-starter.

And if the NSA wants to track anyone, they can just tap into their cell phone (has been proven - thanks, Snowden).

Actually, I caught some kind of bug last summer that insured there was nothing left inside me....so the chip is gone now. And I never had a chance to get a shot to prevent that nasty little bug.

LOL ... I had the flu once, too. You are right. It was horrid. Only time in my life I seriously thought I might need to go to the doctor because I really thought "wow, this stuff could kill me ... if I'm lucky" I get the flu shot every single year. Haven't had the flu since. Of course, I don't go out "into pub-lick" nearly as much now as I did back then either. Another thing that I am eternally thankful for -- yes, GC, thank you!

I can't do that pine needle tea ... bleech ... but I do drink green tea like it's going out of style (and echinacha -- sp??). Never miss my multi-vitamin, my Vitamin C or my Vitamin D ... I tried taking zinc once when GC had a cold (to see if I could stave off getting one) ... Stuff made me puke my toenails up ... I'll just take the sore throat and itchy ears, thankyouverymuch!
