Good affordable Red Dot for AR15

Can anyone make a recommendation for a good yet affordable Red Dot for my AR-15. Looking for something serviceable for around $100. I understand that I will need to upgrade if the SHTF.

I have a true glow red dot on my 10/22 which I'm impressed with. Don't know how it would hold up on an ar, it cost me about $60.

I would get a good set of irons and run those while you save up for a good red dot. Trijicon isn't going to be answering the phone while the S is hitting the F.

I had a PA micro for a while to decide if I liked that style. I have astigmatism and it doesn't matter how much the red dot costs. Still a fuzzy blob in the eyepiece. The Trijicon TA-44SG10 has been a life saver for that problem. Hard pill to swallow on the price, but worth every penny. No batteries to die, ever.

But, the PA worked fine for the $90 I spent on it. Bought a good ADM mount for it too and it was a solid setup.

Have one of these on a wasr 10/63, 3000 +/- rounds and counting

I purchased a PA red dot 2 or 3 years ago for my Sig 522. Has worked flawlessly and I have never had to adjust it.

I like the Strikefire Vortex myself. Use one on the AR and one on the 15-22

First one i ever bought was a UTG red/green dot. For the price it wasnt bad.
