I feel your pain!! I have it too, both feet. I take Uloric every day, and can only take Endomethicin for attacks, I'm allergic to all other meds for treatment.
try eating alot of cherries or drinking cherry juice 100%. they help lower the uric acid in your body. also make sure you know which foods your consuming that can raise the level of uric acid in your body, Beans are a big culprit. Ive never had gout but two aunts have & they were miserable.

If you're still getting attacks and taking anti Gout meds then guess what; they aren't working and/or your doc hasn't figured out the problem with why you've got gout. You make too much uric acid or the uric acid you make isn't absorbed back into the kidneys at high enough rate. One or the other or both of those processes are at work. Different meds for each issue.
I've had gout for years. Struggled with more frequently occuring attacks as time progressed until I finally gave up trying to control it with diet. Doc put me on Allopurinol - haven't had an attack in well over 6 years and I get to eat what I like not the pansy ass bs the anti-gout diet lets you eat.
Allopurinol Works by reducing the production of uric acid. Been in use for well over 50 years and has few side effects and the one's it has are mild. Might wanna verify that allergy to be sure if you haven't already.
$6 for a 30 day supply.
Uloric! Why use the latest drug company replacement for something that's worked for 1/2 a century and does nothing for you but put money in their pockets.
Thought I had gout. Stabbing pain in the toes of both feet. However there was numbness also involved. It turned out to be spinal stenosis. Maybe not as bad as gout but bad enough to screw up a nights sleep.
I use naproxin (aleve) as soon as I feel that first twinge in my foot. My Dr said double the recommended dose on the bottle. Works everytime for me. ymmv Good Luck...You're right, it SUX.
