Help me figure tag and taxes..

It seems as if the new Caprice deal is a go, so I am juggling the thought of purchasing one and trying to figure out the costs involved. THe OK new car tax rate is 3.25% and if the car costs $29500, I came up with almost 9k to get it registered. Seems kinda high to me, so is my crappy public school math wrong, or am I out of my league worrying about paying the taxes on the new car.

I thought it was kinda high. When I renew the wagons plate next week, I'll ask the lady at the tag office.

Yeah, big motor in a big body with decent hp. I'm still trying to figure out how insurance would work with a cash value since there's no replacement vehicle, and to line up the financing.
