During the obama days i was able to buy 40 S&W about 1/3rd of the time i was looking for it.I haven't seen any 40 S&W on the shelves at Academy since February of this year.However, i don't live as close to Academy as i use to.
Yeah, I said that too. Problem is, the shelves at Academy look like a corn field after the locus have swarmed. There isn't really even an ammo section/shelves at the local one.
As to selling, I'd say if you have plenty now is a good time to sell.
And that brings up the age old question...how many rounds per gun/caliber do you need? 1000? 2000? 5000?

My neighbor is a senior level diplomat in Iraq. He comes back to the states for about two weeks and then is gone for six months. We all had dinner a few weeks ago and he said that at his base near the ******* Airport they have 11,000,000 rounds of ammunition total. I assume that is made up for 5.56 NATO, 7.62 NATO, 9mm NATO, 50 BMG, and 12 Gauge.
I have begged him to just bring me back 2,000 rounds of 9mm NATO and 5.56 NATO....I mean what is 2,000 out of 11,000,000?

I don’t think the Sandy Hook ammo scare is going to come anywhere close to what I suspect this one is going to turn out to be.
Whatever prices are right now (if a person can even find ammo) could be three times as much by this time next year especially if the whore ends up in the oral office.
