Been going to Dr Guilford for years and he is a careful and conscientious dentist, unlike a lot of them.
Don't blame the dentists. Blame the insurance companies. Dentists get to pick which insurance carriers they want to do business with. Insurance companies' nickel and dime them to death.When I retired, I got on Medicare with NO ADVANTAGE plan! I enrolled in the Physician's Mutual Dental insurance because they say you can choose any dentist and they pay for a lot of stuff. I also had to pay in for a year to get the crowns and stuff paid for. I went two years before having to use it.
The only problem I have found is the dentists didn't choose Physician's Mutual. Most of them will not take it. Especially, the oral surgeons.
I paid $35 a month for over 2 years for dental insurance I could not use.
I hate dentists. Almost as bad as used car salesmen and lawyers.

My best friend was dentist. Dang, we had a lot of fun back in the day. His staff was always pulling crap on me. I would scream like cat that had its tail cut off when I was having work done. LOL, that brings back a lot of great memories. Thank you! Unfortunately, he passed away way before his time.
I use Mike Wallace in Edmond. I like him, but I don’t enjoy seeing him. I’ve never tried sleep dentistry personally, I will if I have major work done though.
All I will say is don't go to checotah. I have a partial numb bottom lip from a year ago.
