However, go out on the street in a "neutral" state (not Oklahoma, not California) ask any 10 people which party is more racist, and 8 will say the Republicans.
How do you distinguish between the true liberals who simply want to improve the lives of minorities and those simply pandering to the fears of those minorities? (Which, I agree, happens, and which is unproductive.)
And if it was not common advice it would not need debunking. I know my memory is better then most but even my wife remembers it along with several older people I have asked, and my wife has one of the worst cases of CRS you will ever see short of someone with a medical condition.
