I was just wondering. What are your views of the mormon religion and what is being teached? Not about the people themselves, but the rules they live by?

I have worked with Mormon lawyers and worked known Mormons in undergrad. In general, they are reliable, upstanding moral people. I have nothing but respect for them and have found them to be honest and kind. That's a generalization, but it is also my experience. In fact, a Mormon nurse I worked on Fen Phen cases with years ago still puts my name on the rolls for prayers. Can't beat that!

I'm not a Mormon, but I married into a Mormon family. I feel sorry for the guys at the family reunions, getting bitched at by multiple wives looks to be brutal.
JB, you and I have had our differences, but I commend you for your posting. Thank you. I remember when JFK ran and the uproar over his being a Catholic and so it went on. Who cares? Just another way to keep the uneducated from, well, you know what I mean.

My experiences have been similar to JB's. I've worked with some LDS people and found them to be extremely hard working and family-dedicated.
I've worked with a bunch of them in various professions and jobs. Never found a bad one. Just like any other religion though, you'll find the majority are good folks and a few shouldn't claim to be LDS or any other religion.
I worked with one...HE was difficult, but it was his personality and not because of his religion. But from what I know of Mormons in general, they are hard workers, pay their taxes, don't commit a lot of crime, and make very good citizens...they also crank out a LOT of future republican voters which alone should be commended don't you think JB?
