Why is Gundy still silent on this issue?

Neither him, nor OSU, nor Tennessee officially have made any statements.

Seems to me there is still something going on...

If Gundy cared about the program and the fan base, wouldn't he come out and strongly and affirmatively state that he is in fact remaining the Cowboy's head coach?

Mike Gundy intends to remain at Oklahoma State and is downplaying reports of a strained relationship with athletic director Mike Holder.

Gundy said Thursday there was "no question" he planned to stay at his alma mater. The former Cowboys quarterback is the school's winningest coach with an eight-year record of 66-35.

Stoops has been going through the same grief in his tenure at OU. When you become successful, your door gets knocked on, and Gundy is such a nice Oklahoma boy he'll invite anyone in for a chat.

And for the record, I never said I agreed with scheduling a weak OOC, I like it when we schedule tough opponents and beat them. It just sucks when you lose to one.

The interview I saw with Gundy, he never said he wasn't leaving. He said he was "Happy at OSU". If I remember correctly, thats exactly what Miles did before he left.

Saban also said something along the lines of read my lips "I'm not leaving the Dolphins" about three days before leaving the team. LOL!
