The handguards only count as one even if they are actually two parts.
You also can keep the great triggers the MAK comes with by replacing the magazine followers and floorplates with US ones for 2 more US parts.You must use these mags only.
That along with a US stock,gas piston and pistol grip would make you legal if the muzzle isn't threaded.If it is be sure to use a US muzzle device.
This is where your confusing me.
FCG (3 parts) + PG (1 part) + Stock (1 part) = 5 parts right? Why then would you "also" need a gas piston (now making a total of 6 parts) to make it legal to add a real stock/or folder and pistol grip in place of the thumbhole stock? Anyone?
