Molcajete in Enid?

Also, this image popped up when I typed in Molcajete Enid. Turns out the restaurant I MIGHT be after is Playa Azul in Enid..

I eat that once or twice a month. Along with Chinese cuisine, Italian cuisine, etc etc. I dine in and relax and get to burp and fart at my leisure .

If you can find an El Tapatio, they sell it. I can’t guarantee they still use the stone bowls, but I’ve had it a few times in Nowata.

You can get a great Molcajete in Ponca City across the street from Walmart. I love them!
It’s enough for two people, coming out in the lava bowl bubbling hot.

Molcajete refers to the mortar and pestle not the dish. There is sausage Molcajete, chicken Molcajete, salsa Molcajete, cheese Molcajete. Which are you referring?

The restaurant in Ponca puts a mix of everything protein is in theirs thay I’ve ate at. Most I’ve got in restaurants around the country do the same. Mix of shrimp, chicken, bacon, and fajita beef in a tomato based salsa with mixed veggie’s.
The salsa is the key IMHO.
