Morels Yet Anyone?

We found 30 today in about 15 mins. on my place. I hope to hit the cimarron this week.

I found a decent helping this evening! Heard tons of gobbles too! I cannot wait til turkey season gets here!

Finally found a few today, would have let them grow bigger but couldn't make it back for a few days. Made a fine meal with smoked pork butt and cornbread.

It wasn't for a lack of looking either, a lot of ground covered. They weren't in their usual places, and I was constantly distracted by turkeys

3 of us found about 4.5 pounds today in Norman we hunted for around 3 hours. It was our 1st time. Maybe beginners luck.

I think the hogs in my area ate all of the morells. every tree i would think they should be under had been rooted by hogs all the way around it.
