My Oops Moment

I've made plenty of mistakes. Just not when it comes to showing my gun to public.

I mistakenly concealed mine once. The cute bank teller (telless?) said, "no gun today, Mr. -------?"

Mine isn’t on accident, I exclusively open carry.
I didn’t pay extra for my marijuana leaf patterned hydro dip job not to show it off.
You’d be surprised how many people tell me how cool I am and that they appreciate me showing off how slick a hi point can look. I feel that I am doing the world a favor and I enjoy all the attention it no doubt draws.

I had a similar experience. I carry IWB T-shirt draped over 99% of the time. Was in a hurry one day and had to get gas. Pumping, the guy next to me said "Is that a 1911?" I looked down, apparently in my haste getting out, the seat belt had flipped my shirt to the back side of the grip. "Yes sir it is" as I fixed it. Yep, sometimes it happens, I do not flaunt it, but do not go to extremes to conceal most of the time. I have noticed the average person pays no attention any way. JMO

I'm disappointed that you didn't take the precautionary steps to make sure concealed is concealed since you say you prefer that method.

I'm always concious of the visibility or lack thereof on my carry weapon. My wife has several times asked if I had it on me when we go to shady areas because she didn't know if I did or not. I choose my clothes appropriately and keep track of their positions.
It's a responsibility everyone should have. Just like making sure things are not accessible to children.

Why the hell are you taking your wife to shady areas?? Guess whether or not you are showing is way more important than taking you wife places she should not be.. EWW I like playing smart ass games this is fun!! Because every shady part of town has a badass taco truck or tamale stand.
BTW, I didn't know I was being a smartass in my previous post.
