NRA and OK2A work against open carry in parks and zoos.

We went from permitted carry to constitutional carry with the turn of an election and now we are about to take a serious bite out of the prohibited status of locations like the OKC zoo and The Gathering Place. I'll take it as a step forward, not a sell-out.

In a couple years after the streets are NOT running in blood they will vote to remove more restrictions.
It's took 30+ years to get to this point.

One time I thought I was going to have to shoot a young buck. He was snorting and doing short, fake charges. It was during the rut and I guess he thought I was after his girlfriend or something. I kept talking softly and slowly backing away and after a while he trotted off after his girl.

I'm sorry, as a "young buck" I had to do what was necessary to get my women!!

They did not open carry much either unless hunting or war.

The best thing about open carry being passed was it took away the "brandishing" part of the cc law. Before it passed if somehow you printed or your gun got exposed ( and yes it can happen) you could lose your permit. I know some will say concealed is concealed but s**t happens and thankfully we don't have to worry anymore.
