Nope. My wheels are aluminum and it stuck pretty well to those. More than 6 months'-worth. I've run through automatic washes a number of times with no problems, although now that it has been slightly scratched and messed up, I think it will speed up the flaking. I really need to go ahead and re-do them completely.
