Damn, I was pissed when my Mom called to tell me she found .22's. She bought two boxes of 500 for $69 (EACH) at Dong's.

I was with my fiance, and her uncle, last weekend, and for gits and shiggles we went to Gunworld, they want $699 for 500rds of Tula .223. They also wanted almost a buck a round for 50rd box of .45's. I paid $30 or so for a box of 100 at Bass Pro near Talladega, AL a couple weeks ago.

Not an ad but visited an ammo booth at the OK Tackle & Gun Show today. I have a Ruger Model M77 chambered in 284 win. that I gave to my son. Ammos is not easy to find but...he wanted $50 for a scuffed up old Winchester factory box of 20 shells. At 2.50 per loaded bullet that is just too high. I really only wanted it for the brass for reloading anyway.

.22lr @ 9mm prices.....pure, unadulterated, awesomness.
Question...do dealers really think folks are going to pay these prices? I mean seriously...that box should go for .05-.06$/rd and they want .28$/rd. Talk about posterior remorse...yeesh!
