I am not a tough guy. Those who know me will likely attest to this. I am a smart ass though.

You made some very douchey comments about TR so I called you on it in a moderately douchey manner. You became butthurt in the mightiest of ways, and I pointed out the hypocrisy in your posts. I don't know the OP in any way; we've never met, but I thought calling you out might be fun, and boy was I right. Don't worry, I don't take it personally. You likely are dealing with something from your childhood and are trying to now feel like a man.

I did not get butthurt at all. I merely stated what TR is doing. you did not point out anything other than the fact that you do not have anything to say, constructively. Lastly, you are just like a teenage girl that wants to be everyone's lawyer. Why don't you go find TR and let him check your testosterone.

So remember how I said the kid who was bullying got kicked out of my son's school and sent to another school?

Right...

Well, this morning, another 6th-grader, a 12-y/o, from that public school who was a victim of bullying was found dead. He killed himself. A 12 year old.

Any of you guys don't think this is ****ing serious, that this is something to joke about, something to make fun of, then you don't have a ****ing clue.

My wife tells me this is the 3rd suicide at that school in a year due to bullying. A middle school. I know of 3 in the area I work, as well, an 18 y/o, a 13- and 14-y/o/ All triggered due to school and online and social media bullying.

Yep, we have a significant number of kids that experience clinical levels of depression and anxiety because of bullying and ostracism, which typically leads to physical health problems (because psychological problems are physical too), and the negative outcomes are great (e.g., self mutilation, drug dependency, dropping out of school, suicide attempts, successful suicide, and even school shootings--although those are still rare). It doesn't help that all those outcomes are so badly stigmatized that many parents keep it a secret when it's their kid. @tRidiot, you are doing a great job...keep fighting the good fight.

College kids are being diagnosed with anxiety and depression at higher levels every year... .and more and more coming into college with a significant history of long-term mental illness.

Where is this coming from?

Once teachers and parents were no longer able to discipline their kids. You know what I mean.

Some say you can train a dog with only positive reinforcement. Is this even true? Does the same work with kids?
