I'm pretty short so it's feels good to me. I've been kicking around the idea of getting some blacked out drag bars. At first I loved the mid position foot pegs, but the longer I ride the more I want forward controls The only thing that really bugs me out the bike is the gap between the tank and the seat as seen above.

Yeah...my dragbars are 1" dia, but have too much pullback for my tastes so I think I'm going to fab some that are a lot more straight out of some 1 3/4" waterpipe.I want the straightest bars I can possibly get away with so I may have to get some aftermarket risers to add a bit more reach.....dunno'
I'll just have to see how it works out when I get to cuttin on them.

The longer you ride, the further forward you always end up wanting the pegs.

The best way to fix the tank/seat gap,IMO, is to get a bigger tank!
I would even go for a bigger tank on my Meanie if I could....I might have to fab one though and that's a pretty big project!

I envy you guys with bikes. I always wind up in the hospital whenever I try to ride one. Maybe if I took a training course, instead of thinking I can jump on one and figure it out, I could avoid the MRI. Got some cool scars, though..
