Don't forget how much damage they inflicted with old Soviet armament.
Yeah it's too bad it was unforeseeable that their military would fold in 5 seconds. They were left for the local military we trained for years to use against the taliban in Afghanistan after we left.
That military folded like a stack of playing cards just like the South Vietnamese army did after we left, leaving the weapons for the enemy.
I'm a little short on funds and military support.I say you drive to DC and make a citizens arrest
And the people who refused to see the signs that there would be a “5 second” collapse of the Afghan military start with National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan. Sullivan is the ass clown who in the Obama administration said it was a “video” that caused Americans to die in Benghazi in 2012.Yeah it's too bad it was unforeseeable that their military would fold in 5 seconds.
I was thinking a few B52s and a few B Ones.A few A-10s could've really rained on that parade.
Or an order to blow the equipment in place before leaving. Poof, you're done.Just one sortie for a pair of B2 could have repaired that mistake
They should have bombed it then.Typical, we leave hardware every time, too expensive to transport it back and try to deal with it, easier just to buy new stuff. US Government has no accountability for spending.
I can only speculate, but I'll bet that the Biden administration offered all that equipment to the Taliban as a part of some withdrawal deal. You see, that way nothing would show on the books as some kind of payoff. Cleaver, but devious if true. It's something I wouldn't put past this administration. They should have bombed it then.
