So I've had a bad string of luck lately with hair cuts. It seems like every damn place I go screws my hair up one way or another. I always have to try and fix it myself, or have others try and do it for me. My hair style is not difficult, so I don't really understand what the problem is?! I want basically a high and tight. No guard on sides faded/blended to a 2 on top.. I mean really, can it be that hard that nearly EVERYONE screws it up?!!

Does anyone have any recommendations in the Tulsa or Owasso area for a place where I can get a good, consistent cut? I've tried all the main haircut places (supercuts, greatclips, sport clips.. blah blah), but am done with them.

Man what I would give to find a place like the one my grandpa used to take me to.... an old school barber shop, where the guys were prior military.... still used a straight edge to neaten things up... and talked for hours about the crazy things they did in their youth....

"the Barber Shop" in BA. Small place just moved on Main street on the east side of the road across from Broken Arrow Gifts. Been going there for years. Either of the two indian girls can do it and Ive never got a bad one. Plus, they straight razor your neck and give you a head massage. All for $12.

Clay's Barber Shop, Fontana Shopping Center, 51st/Memorial, around the corner from Hideaway Pizza. He is an FFL so I'm sure you can have a good conversation and a good cut. I go there for the straight razor shave, scalp and face.

This. Clays' is the best in town for a guy's cut. I've only gotten a cut, never the full shave. It's $20 but he knows how to cut hair better than anyone I've ever tried, and since it's cut well I can go longer before needing another trim. So it's actually about a break even.
