Future dollars versus current stockpile. I think that ammo could go up, however the people most worried about shortages have theirs. This isn't like 2008 with obama, or 2016 with the possibility of hillary. 2020 was weird because of Covid, many thought Trump had it in the bag. Buy ammo if needed, accumulate an amount you feel comfortable with. If you have old ammo in your stockpile shoot it and buy some more. Antimony and Nitrocellulose are needed for many other things sold in the US, not just ammo. Prices will always be on the rise.
Prices have historically been a roller coaster ride. Especially for folks who didn’t learn from previous shortages.
