Henschman is right, none of this matters, until its one of us.

I think Z-man let his wannabe-ness overload his ass and shot Martin because he was humiliated. Unfortunately, Z-man is the only witness to the actual shooting. For all we know Martin was done beating on Z-man and standing over him calling Z-man a punk-ass-biatch.

Do I really care? Not really, but I do think that Georgie got away with murder.

Being that Zimmerman was, as you say, the only witness to the shooting, do you fault the jury for finding that there was a reasonable doubt as to whether he committed murder? I don't see how they could have hardly done anything else.

No, as I've said earlier, I think that Z-man got away with murder. There were not witnesses to the beginning or end of the confrontation so the only version of the story the jury or anybody for that matter has, is Z-man's. I'm okay with the verdict and with the evidence available he never should have been charged, but I'm not a Z-man supporter by any means.

Maybe men lacking bravado should stick to stalking little old ladies.

This ain't high school, and I've no interest in ending up like a vegetable just so some shitstain can post video of me twitching on the ground to his Facebook for his other shitstain friends to laugh at. We live in an armed society, and getting killed while attempting to use your fists to force your will upon others is simply the consequences of being impolite.

So Zimmerman was a fool for carrying his gun and not retreating fast enough, thereby provoking the encounter, but he is also at fault because Martin did not feel a duty to retreat and instead met a retreating night stroller with overt and physical aggression?

Double standards, how do they work?

That said, both men are tied for idiot of the year, St. Skittles just happened to also win a Darwin award in the process. I just don't understand how we, as a society, feel it's okay to hold up two standards for the exact same case.

and you're basing your definition of "murder" on emotion and not things like, oh, say, Logic and Law.
