"Gangsta Culture".....if you're referring to the clothes he wears, the music he listens to, his choice in jewelry, his hairstyle, or tattoos - then none of that is illegal. This does not make one a thug.

Drug Use.....how many members of this forum have sampled or used some sort of drug in their past? How many have smoked pot? How many drank alcohol before they were 21? If this is an indicator, then a lot more of us here are thugs and should just turn ourselves in to the authorities.

Fighting.....please. I've been in fights. Some I started and some I didn't. That makes me a thug? What teenage male doesn't get in a fight at some point? Threw a racial slur my way...we fought. Talk inappropriate about my girl...we fought. Mess with my family...we fought. That makes me a thug?

Suspended from School.....do you have any idea what it takes to get suspended today? Cussing at a teacher, passive defiance of authority, giving someone the finger, being in a fight whether or not you started it, throwing food at lunch, etc. Not everything that gets you suspended is representative of being a thug.
