I can't get people to work and I pay double minimum wage.... I've had every kind come through my shop, shortly after they realized that turning a wrench could be hard work they fail to show. Then I get a notice saying they are filing for unemployment again.

That's more gaming the system than realizing it's hard work. Although, it is harder than sitting at home on the couch watching Springer...

I also think it's insane people believe America plays no role in how we're viewed around the world and that us pissing people off due to our foreign policy is is a complete impossibility and that this does also not play a role in what happened on 911.

LOL @ the idea that "they hate us for our freedom." That's biggest line of ******** I've ever heard. To think people believe it who can also vote is depressing.

One of the reasons they hate us because we have military bases in what they consider to be Holy Land on the Arabian peninsula. Look at the outrage here with the thought of a Mosque at the WTC site. Any difference? Islamophobia is growing. It's gonna come back and bite us in the butt someday. Religious wars never end good.

I think it's insane how we're in 130 countries around the world.

I have to agree with Crazy Uncle Madd on this. This is one of this issues I think Paul makes has a valid stance on. The fact nobody likes to hear it shows it might be a bit too close to home. Our foreign policy could use a few changes in my opinion.

The truth, indeed, is something that mankind, for some mysterious reason, instinctively dislikes. Every man who tries to tell it is unpopular, and even when, by the sheer strength of his case, he prevails, he is put down as a scoundrel. - Mencken

Thanks for posting that elwoodtrix. It's hilarious. Romney looks concerned and Perry looks confused. I love the Yeah! and the aplause from the audience. I do wish that Blitzer would learn to ask a question. He could have asked about a guy who didn't have a good job, but he framed it in a very Paul freindly way. He could also have followed up by proposing some mechanism that would hasten the death of an individual like this. Missed opportunities.

The people who cheered the idea that we should let the uninsured die are complete morons. Ron Paul brought to light the fact that fundraisers and the churches have helped many people deal with their medical debt. If everyone put a $5 bill in the jar on the counter of the quickstop requesting help for medical bills and people started caring about one another, rather than competing with one another, then this country would be better as a whole.
