Anybody installed KIDD bolt buffers?

For $6 bucks these seem like a pretty good deal.

I just put one in my 10/22. It seems to be a little quieter/smoother on the bolt. Also installed the Kidd guide rod/spring and extractor. Before the rifle was strangely picky about ammo. I hoping it cures it. A range session with 3 types of bulk ammo showed zero malfunctions. So far, so good.

I went ahead and put a chamfer the rear of the bolt today. (radiused on the bottom rear instead of square) and filed myself an auto bolt release. Taking it to the trigger tomorrow and putting the finishing touches on the factory stock I'm carving into a McMillan A5 shape. Dang I love 10-22's

The last picture of the trigger plunger mod really is easy to do and makes for a smoother trigger pull.

Also, if you smooth the back of the bolt where the hammer rubs on it on the bolts way back it can help too. It just makes the action feel smoother.
