Academy is apparently no longer selling them either.

Was at the NW 63rd & NW Expressway Academy at lunch today. While near the firearms counter I overheard a salesman talking on the phone. After hanging up he announced to his associates, and everyone else within earshot, that he was just instructed to pull all the ARs from the display. He said they could still sell them, but that they can't be on the rack. They started taking them down and boxing them up to be put out-of-sight behind the counter.

Seemed like the general consensus from both employees and customers was that it was ridiculous.

I was at Bass Pro last night and this evening. They had some black rifles (maybe 6) last night and have one on the shelf tonight and the other was camo. Think it was an R-15. Mags are gone.

I also heard that some walmarts in the NE are not going to sale them anymore. Don't know if its true or not. I read that the company that owns bushmaster is selling now!! I just cannot believe what is happening right now. I just have a very bad feeling that we are going to have all our rights taken away. There will be people rolling over right and left to make people happy. I say screw everyone. Just because they don't like guns doesn't mean that over 50 million other Americans don't. Why isn't there mass protests of all the so called gun enthusiasts about protecting our rights?

Because "...From my cold, dead fingers" is just a saying. Most gun owners don't seem to actually have the backbone to stand up and support what they believe in, I bet this new AWB will pass without a whisper. Sure, there will be posts on Facebook and such about it, but the majority of gun enthusiasts won't ever leave their home in support of the 2A.

went to academy tonight. first person I seen was being escorted to the door with his bushmaster box. walked back to the hunting fishing section and it was slammed busy. No AR's on display but people where buying them up like hot cakes. the ammo was pretty wipped out as well but it usually is there anyways. I kinda laughed that they will pull the AR's from display but have a endcap full of .223 and 7.62 ammo

And it really doesn't help anything that we've got these "hunters" proclaiming "Well, it ain't a hunting rifle, so I don't see why anyone should need to own one..." or "Who needs a 30 round mag?"...

I DO, THATS WHO.
