I'm gonna go ahead and ask you to leave, too. If you're done posting I can ring you up now, or you can run to your car and put this kind of posting away.

I'm just wondering what's the point of flaunting your firearm? To show off? What's wrong with concealed carry? I'm all about gun rights but I'm not seeing the point of walking around with it displayed for all to see? It's a lawfully given right, but I don't really see the point?
So what. If the OP wants to OC and has a permit. He can. Whether you'd choose to or not. It was just a few years ago when people like u and I who CC were asked if we were compensating for low self esteem or a small organ.

Funny, they've never asked me to leave for concealed carrying?
So if the private property owner doesn't want ANY firearms on their premises, you'll ignore their wishes and rights as a property owner? Please don't whine about people infringing on your rights. 2A or otherwise. If you don't agree with their policy, take your business elsewhere but don't just ignore the property owners rights please. It makes the rest of us look bad.

Your comments add nothing of value to the discussion here.

As for the OP, I might have asked them whether they want me to pay for my items and leave, or leave immediately and let them restock the items in my cart. I would not disarm and return and I'd make that clear. I see nothing wrong with what you did though and the employee telling you it's OK to check out without disarming was a temporary exclusion of the trespass rule. A sign isn't required as was pointed out already, just notification and a request to leave.

Please explain something to me, and before we get started I am not trying to pick a fight. I keep seeing these post about some business asking someone to leave for OC or they will not do business with them again because they have a No CC sign. Every gun show I have ever been too will not let you carry, but no one says they will never business with them again. I don't understand the difference.

More of reasoning for me. I'm not sure why you aren't allowed to carry at shows. could be just the fact that the person they lease the property from makes that request in the lease, insurance purposes or whatever. Most businesses ask out of ignorance and lack of understanding or distain for 2A rights. I doubt most show promoters are doing it out of distain for 2A rights.
